The recital for Curtis on New Years’ Eve went so well, that we did a repeat performance for Ma, Doc, Kevin, Christie, Katie and Jessie on the 1st. Yanni played even better for the larger audience. Xay was very nervous, even though I had slashed his music down to the two pieces he plays best. Imani didn’t do chopsticks rhythmically correct on the quartet, but she had a great time, and Joy was raring to go. I immediately started practicing different music for a new recital in the Spring. . .
