Angie: Xay wants me to tell you about his severe lack of clothing. . . I took out all his too small pants, leaving him with like two pairs
Curtis: noted
we can plan on getting him some clothes in two weeks
Angie: sounds good.
Thank you
I just told Xay, “Your father in the basement knows you have need of such things, and he will take care of it in due season
![]()
He said, “he didn’t say due season, did he? Because that would mean a long time. . .”
I said, “he told me the exact time, but I’m not going to tell you.
Curtis: *laff*
Angie: He said, “why?”
I said, “because that’s what the heathen do, worry about what they’re going to wear, etc. you need to learn how to trust
Curtis: wow
Angie: He said, “it didn’t say heathen, . . . what if the heathen was from America?”

I guess this is along the same line… I was reading in my Bible in 2 Chronicles 20 this morning, and several verses stood out to me, which I thought might minister to your situation. This is NASB version, by the way. If you want the whole context, read the whole chapter. The setting is when the kings of Ammon, Moab and Mt. Seir were preparing to attack the Israelites. These people had been spared when the Israelites first came into the promised land because they had shown kindness to them, and also because of related ancestry. Now they were returning the favor by preparing to wipe out the nation of Judah. Starting in verse 6: “O Lord, the God of our fathers, art Thou not God in the heaven? And art Thou not ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Thy hand so that no one can stand against Thee… v.9 – Should evil come upon us, the sword, or judgement, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before Thee (for Thy name is in this house) and cry to Thee in our distress, and Thou will hear and deliver us…v.12 – “O our God, wilt Thou not judge them? For we are powerless before this great multitude who are coming against us; nor do we knkow what to do, but our eyes are on Thee”…v 15b – “Thus says the Lord to you, “Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s'…v 22 – “And when they began singing and paising, the Lord set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, who had ome against Judah; so they were routed.”
The chapter goes on to explain how the enemies destroyed one another while Judah watched. All that was left was corpses, and Judah spent three days collecting the spoil! I believe God wants you to sing and praise Him, and let Him fight this battle for you, and the enemies will destroy one another, and you will only have to collect the spoil after the battle. I am praying for this.
