I love how having older kids makes learning so much easier for the younger ones. I love how generous the older children are to the baby. I love the look of concentration on the baby’s face–a look you can’t fully see here, but you know it’s there. The look that tells you that learning is taking place.

There are other things I love about this grainy picture. The assurance that some of the beans we’ve planted will sprout, because even the bean we’d planted in an old laundry detergent cup has sprouted. I even love the fact that you can see our upmteenth celery stalk experiment right behind the watering can.
