As a family we have struggled with the issue of what to do about the "one eyed monster" (television)in the living room. DH would love to roll it out the back door. I argue that it helps me occupy the youger ones with educational programming while I work with the older ones. I once thought Disney was a safe spot to park the set on. Was I wrong. The programming presents children with far to many ideas that their young minds should not have to focus on. I agree completely.
