Ok, so we weaned years ago, or at least last year. But this is a weaning of another sort.

This just in: baby gets blisters/rash on her sucking fingers; sleeplessness/crankiness ensued. I had just thrown out the last pacifier. boo me. bought her new ones–suckifyers, she called them. Yay!

And that was the source of a few sleepless nights up in here. People were crying, groping, screaming, “I want Mommy!” in the night. . . and the baby was pretty upset too. (rim shot)
