She was gossiping again.

Dude went into the bathroom and when he came out, Miss Gossip was waiting for him with other people.

Q.: Why did you go to Harris’ house?
A.: Because my parents were drunk. They went through three phases of drunkenness: buzzed, drunk, and obliterated! I went there for the summer.

Q.: What is your relation to Harris?
A.: His father, Knute, is my second Uncle. His wife’s name is Clare. They have a daughter named Glennis. Then there’s Harris, who is 11.

Q.: What’s your name?
A.: I’m not telling you!

Q.: Why did you make Harris pee on the electrical wire?
A.: Because Harris said that my brain was messed up when I was talking to a girl!

Q.: Was the work on the farm where Harris lived hard?
A.: Yes. When Knute broke his hand, I had to do a lot of working, like separating the milk from the cream.

Q.: Were you sad when you had to leave?
A.: Yes, and so was everyone else.

1. The word martyr means basically a Jesus freak, someone who will die for Jesus.

2. Prison can be a good thing. Lots of times in the book when someone went to prison, they would witness to the people there.

3. They never give up. Tons of people were told to denounce their faith or die. Most chose to die.

4. Martyrs can handle betrayal. A group of soldiers were put naked in a frozen lake in Rome. If they gave up their faith they could go to a warm bath on shore. One man gave up his faith. Then someone on shore got in with the rest of the people.

5. Two girls in China were going to be shot by their Pastor. He was told if he shot them, they would free him. The girls thanked him for teaching them.

6. One man was lowered into a pit of dogs. He was praying. The dogs did not touch him.

7. Another man, in a communist country, was sent outside wearing a summer outfit in sub-zero weather. This went on every day for three days in the evening. He did not freeze.

8. A brother and sister were put on a hot rack to be cooked. They did not die, they just sat there. The rack did not harm them, so they were killed later.

9. John, Jesus’s disciple, was boiled in a vat of oil. He was unharmed. At first he was praying, but then he started praising God, so they took him out. Later, Hared made him drink poison, and John did not die.

10. Many people brought their torturers to Christ eventually, even if they did not live to see it. Many prayed and sang as they were dying, too.

I learned a lot from this book. I hope I can be a Jesus freak.

Robber had stolen $1,000 from the bank.

Dude prayed and turned into Baldy.

Then he went downtown and saw Mr. Robber getting away in a car.

Baldy rammed the car and it broke.

Nothing, because apples can’t talk

So Miss Gossip said, “I hear you are not strong.”

Then Baldy felt weak.

He prayed and rammed Miss Gossip like a rhino.

She fell down.

“You are defeated!” said Baldy and he walked away.

Charles Drew researched and did experiments on blood plasma. Normal blood goes bad fast. If someone needed blood, they’d have to find a donor with the same blood type, and get the blood directly from the donor to the patient. Blood plasma can be stored. Unlike blood itself, which comes in different types, like A, B, AB, and O, there is only one type of blood plasma. And you can get solid or liquid blood plasma. He saved countless lives. Blood plasma was used to save many soldiers in World War 2.

Charles Drew died at 45 on April 1, 1950 in a car accident. He was driving and he fell asleep. He woke up and tried to regain control of the car, but he could not. The book that I read, Charles Richard Drew: Pioneer in Blood Research, was good. It was by Richard Hardwick. Before, I did not know what Charles Drew did but now I do. He was cool.

One day he saw Miss Gossip. She was gossiping with her friends. Dude went in the bathroom and prayed. Then he was Baldy. He went out to fight Miss Gossip.

This book talked about how evolutionists are winning the battle and how Christians do not know what to do. Some Christians believe in evolution. They are not helping. Some pepole believe that Genesis is just symbolic. Evolutionists are aiming at the fondation of Christianity, Genesis. Christians are aiming at the problems and not the foundation.

Evangalism still works. There was a whole chapter talking about how evangalism still works. There was a lot of letters saying thanks.

Evolution is linked to a lot of the world’s problems, like abortion. Before Darwin, abortion was not that popular. Now there are tons of them. It (evolution) even links to racism. They say some people are “underevolved” so they look different.
